DAOplomats are professional DAO politicians who specialise in solving the DAO governance trilemma (Voter Apathy, ignorant voting, and plutocratic voting). We provide Metagovernance-as-a-service (MaaS) and encourage DAO-to-DAO partnerships.
Our Values:
Objective decision making: We design and implement decision-making frameworks which enable us to perform qualitative and quantitate analysis to arrive at conclusions
Decentralisation: We believe in highly distributed power structures and strive to push decision-making power to the edges
Positive sum: We strive to make our interactions positive sum whenever possible to allow maximum number of stakeholders to benefit via collaboration
Areas of expertise:
Grant programs, operational frameworks, risk analysis, decentralised governance
Experience in DAO governance.
Authorised members to speak on behalf of DAOplomats on the forum
@Baer_DAOplomats, @jengajojo.
Conflicts of Interest:
We are active in governance at several DAOs, including but not limited to 1inch, Aave, BanklessDAO, Connext, Interest Protocol etc.
DAOplomtas unfortunately missed voting on proposals, as the Fractal front-end threw error for the MPC wallet.
We bypassed the fractal framework UI and tried interacting directly with the contract and successfully voted on Proposal 12
[Temp Check] on Deploying a DEX Pool on Optimism Mainnet (Part 2)
Voted:
(1st) Uniswap V3, (2nd) Beethoven X, (3rd) Velodrome V2.
We have provided a detailed rationale during the proposal discussion, but a tl;dr, the innovative design of Uniswap made us choose as the go-to Dex for Shutter.
This proposal is part of our long-standing contribution to the adoption of Shutterised tools. We have also proposed to other DAOs to adopt the tool in the past.
Voted Yes: Approve econ. parameters. The Proposed parameters are reasonable and will positively affect the token economics in the short to medium term.
Voted: For, Supporting this proposal enhances SHU liquidity on Gnosis Chain, facilitating potential staking needs and improving cross-chain accessibility for Shutter Network users.
