Requesting resources to have ShutterDAO as one of the sponsors for ETHMilan 2024, which is set to be the largest ETH and Web3 conference ever held in Italy and will be in Milan from 26-27 September 2024.
The 2023 edition of last year was a huge success, with over 1200 attendees and 22 sponsors coming from 60+ countries. ETHMilan 2024 will host 2000+ people from all over the world to attend the conference and have an incredible time in Milan.
The topics covered during ETHMilan will be technical and aligned with what is being built at Shutter Network. Indeed, the talk that Shutter delivered last year was very appreciated and well attended. Find a recording of the talk delivered by Luis during ETHMilan 2023 here:
Goals
Why Sponsoring?
- ETHMilan is the leading Italian Web3 Conference and provides an incredible branding opportunity for new interested users and contributors, facilitating the onboarding of a fast-growing community of builders, local companies, and institutions.
- Italy is a new and growing market of talented builders, developers, and users and ETHMilan is at the forefront of this growth. Sponsoring this conference basically gives easy access to having a strong presence in this ecosystem.
- Access to unique visibility and awareness opportunities for Shutter DAO to connect with members and supporters who are gonna be at the conference, engaging with a different audience than usual with the goal of onboarding new builders to contribute to RFPs.
Proposal
This proposal seeks to secure Shutter DAO’s position as an official sponsor for ETHMilan 2024 by purchasing one of the conference’s sponsorship packages.
This will provide Shutter DAO with several benefits, including:

- A speaking slot for a team member or lead contributor to discuss Shutter DAO on the ETHMilan stage

This money would be for the “Manzoni” sponsorship package, the second bigger one available for ETHMilan 2024, that includes:
- 1 Guaranteed 30 min Keynote Talk + 1 Guaranteed 1-hour Panel
- Large Booth at Venue (4 meters x 2 meters)
- 30 Conference Pass for Team
- Large Social Media Promotion
- 3 Individual mentions and announcements on X throughout the months towards the conference
- 1 Newsletter mention and 1 logo placement about your product/company
- Press enhancements with our media partners
Option 2 - Visconti Package
Requested budget:
- 10.5k USD
This money would be for the “Visconti” sponsorship package, the second bigger one available for ETHMilan 2024, that includes:
- 1 Guaranteed 15 min Bite Sized Talk + 1 Guaranteed 1-hour Panel
- Medium Booth at Venue (4 meters x 2 meters)
- 20 Conference Pass for Team
- Medium Social Media Promotion
- 1 Individual sponsor announcements on social media
- Press enhancements with our media partners
The sponsorship is payable in USDC, USDT, or ETH.

The ETHMilan Team
The team behind ETHMilan is Web3Mi, one of the leading Italian communities dedicated to web3 and Ethereum adoption. Web3Mi has been active since the beginning of 2022 and has done several activities over the past year and a half. In particular, we organized 10+ meetups, ranging from panels, workshops, and networking happy hours, with sponsors ranging from Base, GS3, Binance, Linea, Avalanche, Horizen Labs, and many more.
The team behind Web3Mi comprises more than 7 people, coming from leading Web3 brands such as Transak, Smilee, and TraderJoe.
