We are Blockscape, a team of experienced infrastructure operators and developers based in Zug, Switzerland. We are passionate about building and supporting decentralized networks that enable innovation and social impact.
We have been following the development of Shutter Network with great interest and admiration. We believe that Shutter Network is a groundbreaking solution to prevent frontrunning attacks on Ethereum and other blockchains, and we are excited to see how it will empower users and developers to build more fair and efficient decentralized applications.
We would like to apply to become a Keyper on Shutter Network and join the mission of providing secure and reliable randomness for the network.
We have the following qualifications and experience that we believe make us a suitable candidate for this role:
• We have been running validators on Ethereum since its PoS launch, as well as on other networks such as Cosmos, Ethereum, Gravity-Bridge, Band Protocol, Evmos, Desmos, Regen Network, and more. We have a proven track record of maintaining high uptime, security and performance on these networks.
• We have participated in the Lido DKG ceremony and ran nodes on multiple internal testnets for Lido, a liquid staking protocol for Ethereum. Currently we are running 7391 validators for their protocol. We have also joined the first cohort of Swell Network node operators, a liquid staking protocol for Ethereum with dynamic rewards and governance features. We are partners of SSV and Obol as we believe in innovation and decentralization and think DVT is the future.
• We have extensive experience in infrastructure operation and DevOps, as well as software development and blockchain engineering. We use best practices and tools to ensure the quality and reliability of our services, such as monitoring, alerting, backup, redundancy, automation, scaling and auditing.
• In addition to providing infrastructure needs, we are actively working on innovative solutions on Ethereum and other networks, such as we are also also developing the front end for Gravity Bridge through their grant program.
• We are committed to contributing to the Shutter Network community and ecosystem. We will actively participate in governance, testing, feedback, education and outreach activities. We will also build tooling and dashboards to enhance the visibility and usability of the network.
