Dear Shutter community,
I represent Maze2 and we have been approached by members of the DAO to provide feedback.
About us
- Major contributors in building 3 viable startups (web2 and web3) in the last 8 years
- Trusted for due diligence (around 20 projects per year) and market/trend research (10 publications per year) by various VCs
- We performed similar 4 similar audits last year for Alphemy Capital (projects can be disclosed by them, we are under NDA), sometimes focusing on the tech, sometimes focusing on the financial aspects, with recommendations proved to be right in hindsight.
Our understanding There has been major efforts in various directions and provided results are unclear to DAO members who do not see a path for viability when continuing the same way, there need to be some quick fixes first and then rebuild a viable plan for mid-long term.
Our suggestion A full review would take too long as it would effectively dismantle the team which is not the aim. While there are several angles (technological, business, marketing, finance) to analyse, the most efficient way to gain visibility is an initial focus on the financials by outlining cost/delivery and pointing out possible optimisations or cuts that could make the project more viable and focused, freezing all optional costs. Once quick wins are identified, we can then proceed with a phase 2 where we make a long term plan for more viability and jump into the business and technical aspects.
We are looking forward for your feedback.
