The DAO kickstarted the seasonal governance process this month with some of the first set of proposals going live last week. We have received mixed feedback on the current process and timeline. We would appreciate the DAOs opinions on the current timeline and scope so that we can modify the process if need be. Please post your comments below
The proposal timeline has currently been extended significantly, which could potentially slow down the DAO. Proposals requiring both on-chain and off-chain votes are taking too long to execute. For example, Keeper node elections.
Proposal 1: A Snapshot vote for selecting the Keeper nodes, but no actual funds or privileges are handed over. Proposal 2: An on-chain vote to set the Keeper nodes.
In my opinion, proposals that involve spending money but do not trigger any on-chain actions should be allowed to bypass the lengthy timeline.
