## Proposal Provide **Blockful** 2 ETH to enable the execution of oSnap transactions as part of exercising control of the DAO-controlled SAFE on Gnosis Chain. **Blockful** will custody the 2 ETH and put up the bond required for all valid oSnap transactions on that SAFE until they return the 2 ETH to Shutter DAO 0x36. ## Background / Reason for Proposal Shutter DAO 0x36 approved a proposal to for Artis deploy a USDC/SHU pool in **Swapr V3 AMM** on Gnosis Chain. (link to the proposal in comments) Shutter DAO 0x36 later approved a proposal for Artis to close the USDC.e/SHU position and open a new WXDAI/SHU pool/position on **Swapr** **v3 AMM** on Gnosis Chain (link to the proposal in comments). As instructed, Artis closed the USDC.e/SHU position and open a new WXDAI/SHU pool/position on Swapr v3 AMM on Gnosis Chain (link to the proposal in comments). Artis currently holds Shutter DAO 0x36’s WXDAI/SHU LP position NFT. Artis needs to transfer Shutter DAO 0x36’s WXDAI/SHU LP position NFT to the SAFE on Gnosis Chain which is controlled by Shutter DAO 0x36 via [https://snapshot.org/#/shutterdao0x36.eth/:](https://snapshot.org/#/shutterdao0x36.eth/:) [Address: 0xe765816e...ad38467DC | GnosisScan](https://gnosisscan.io/address/0xe765816e64Af6F50A7E629198492B22ad38467DC). However, before Artis can transfer the NFT to the SAFE, Shutter DAO 0x36 needs to confirm it controls the SAFE. Blockful created a test transaction which (if successful) would provide the necessary confirmation. The test transaction was approved and needs to be executed. In order for the transaction to be executed, someone must put up a 2 ETH bond, which will be returned if the transaction is not disputed or forfeit if the transaction is disputed. Blockful is able to execute the transaction if Shutter DAO 0x36 provides Blockful custody of 2 ETH to put up the bond for that purpose. If the transaction is disputed. Shutter DAO 0x36 will forfeit the 2 ETH. (Note: there is no valid reason for the transaction to be disputed.) Blockful will also be able to execute future oSnap transaction on behalf of Shutter DAO 0x36. ## Return of Funds to Shutted DAO 0x36 Treasury If either of the following occurs, Blockful shall return the 2 ETH to the Shutter DAO 0x36 Treasury: - the DAO decides not to continue to use this mechanism, or - Blockful does not want to continue putting up the bond to help execute transactions. ## Process (the initial oSnap transaction and related tasks) - Shutter DAO 0x36 transfers 2 ETH to Blockful on Ethereum Mainnet - Blockful executes the oSnap transaction - Blockful confirms the SAFE on Gnosis Chain is controlled by Shutter DAO 0x36 via Snapshot (link in comments) - Artis will transfer the WXDAI/SHU LP position NFT to the SAFE on Gnosis Chain which is controlled by Shutter DAO 0x36 via Snapshot (link in comments) ## Alternative The test transaction can be executed by anyone. If a member of Shutter DAO 0x36 is willing and able to execute the transaction, and put up their own 2 ETH bond, they may do so. The transaction was executed successfully, and the ETH was returned to us.
