# Proposal for providing a market making service to Shutter DAO from JLH Ventures

## Proposal
JLH Ventures hereby extends its market-making proposal to Shutter DAO 0x36, with the objective of elevating liquidity and market effectiveness for the Shutter token (SHU, 0xe485E2f1bab389C08721B291f6b59780feC83Fd7) through market making operations on DEX and CEX platforms.
_It is important to note that JLH Ventures had independently planned to submit a market-making proposal and communicated this intention to certain members as early as January 26._ This proposal is not a reaction to any other proposals.
JLH Ventures seeks to work with Shutter DAO to achieve and surpass its liquidity aspirations, ensuring robust market liquidity for the Shutter token.
While maybe sound self-promoting, but we will say we are quite interest aligned with Shutter Dao, as one of the early contributors to Shutter DAO and protoDAO member. Given our wide range of network with stakeholder, exchange and seasoned understanding of crypto market, believe we are in an excellent position to do so.
For the next six months (with the goal of commencing this agreement for at least a year), JLH Ventures will provide the following services:
- Market Making Service
- Support for Token Launch on DEX & CEX, covering all USDT pairs on at least three exchanges.
- Facilitate OTC trades to avoid huge market impacts and provide order execution service to large token holder for the same purpose
- Assistance with securing additional exchange listings using utilizing our Asia based network, including negotiation of listing costs and co-marketing, structured listing openings for at least three exchanges.
- Consistent Communication: Timely responses within 48 hours in the Telegram group. Monthly sessions with a dedicated analyst, comprehensive reports upon request, and weekly updates.
## Asset Loan Term
Additionally, JLH Ventures will require a float fund of USD $50,000 in USDC and SHU tokens from Shutter DAO 0x36 per exchange, based on our current estimation. The float of fund will be returned after the service term, minus any necessary transaction fees and costs.

## Key Deliveries:
- **Exclusive Market Making** : JLH Ventures will serve as the market maker, ensuring consistent and extensive market coverage.
- **Arbitrage Control** : Active arbitrage management to ensure price stability for SHU/USDT pairs across exchanges.
- **Guaranteed Liquidity** : A commitment to substantial liquidity provision on all listed exchanges, maintaining a size of USD $50,000 equivalent within a 0.75% spread.
- **Expansion and Negotiation Proficiency** : Expertise in listing SHU on additional exchanges, leveraging our vast experience in negotiating with various platforms to secure favorable terms, and familiarity with the varied listing processes.
- **Performance Obligations** :
- **Flexible Payment Structure** : JLH Ventures, as a holder of SHU tokens, agrees to receive half of the payment in SHU tokens, facilitating cost-effective treasury management for Shutter DAO.
## Compenstation
For these market-making endeavors, Shutter DAO 0x36 will compensate JLH Ventures with a retainer-based fee of USDC $2,500 and an equivalent of $2,500 in SHU tokens per month.
## Transparency
We plan to provide real-time read-access APIs to MM accounts. In order to avoid potential abuse we suggest it will be provided to selected group members which can be decided using DAO process
## Termination
Besides any regulatory reasons, which will be outlined in the contract, either party may terminate this Agreement for any reason upon thirty (30) days’ written notice to the other party. However, we hope for a long-term cooperation.
## Vote
- Vote “YES” to provide a grant to JLH for post-LBP market making services for SHU token for six months
OR
- Vote “NO” to not provide a grant

As the info I know so far, I vote for this one. But I expect more transparent between MMr and our community. We should have community member workl closely with their team to make sure that they are staying with us and doing the right thing.

BTW maybe good to note we mean to provide a real time read access to MM accounts. Though how this is done in a way which will be not front-run still need discuss and some thinking
