# Keyper Compensation Payout (April-August 2026)

# Background

This proposal executes the Keyper Compensation Program approved by Shutter DAO 0x36 [Keyper Compensation Program - #8 by 0xAlex](https://shutternetwork.discourse.group/t/keyper-compensation-program/742/8). Eligible Keypers receive 50 USDC-equivalent in SHU per qualifying Keyper per month, provided they maintain:

- At least 90% uptime

- An open communication channel

The July 2026 renewal kept the performance standard, monthly brainbot review, and compensation rate unchanged, while changing the settlement asset from USDC to SHU.

**This execution applies the renewed SHU settlement method to all unpaid eligible months covered by this proposal, including the months preceding the renewal vote.**

brainbot reviewed Keyper performance for April-August 2026. Twelve operators qualify for one or more payments, representing 60 qualifying Keyper-months.

The USD-equivalent values below are used only to apply the approved 50 USDC-equivalent monthly rate; the proposed transfers are denominated and paid in SHU.

The execution amounts below use the spreadsheet’s 0.001306 USD/SHU conversion rate and are shown to six decimal places. The tracker displays the aggregate as 2,297,090 SHU after whole-token rounding.

# Implementation

If approved, Shutter DAO 0x36 will execute 12 SHU transfers directly from the Treasury address 0x36bD3044ab68f600f6d3e081056F34f2a58432c4 to the compensation addresses listed above.

**Total proposed distribution:** 2,297,090.352220 SHU (3,000 USDC-equivalent).

**Treasury funding statement:** The SHU will be paid directly from the Shutter DAO 0x36 Treasury. No USDC transfer is proposed; USD values are shown only as the accounting equivalent used by the compensation program.

# Voting Options

- FOR - Support paying eligible Keypers for April-August 2026 in SHU directly from the Treasury.

- AGAINST - Do not support this payout.

- ABSTAIN - No opinion, but want to help reach quorum.

Axia supports this payout because it executes an approved, performance-linked compensation program for Keypers that met the 90% uptime and communication standard. The proposal provides a clear recipient-level breakdown for 60 qualifying Keyper-months across 12 operators, totaling $3,000 USDC-equivalent.

Axia supports settling the payout in SHU, consistent with the renewed program. For this and future SHU-denominated payouts, the DAO should document the conversion-rate source and timestamp alongside the transfer amounts so delegates can verify how the USD-equivalent rate was applied.
