## Summary In June 2026, brainbot focused on expanding Shutter as a suite of products and as an ecosystem. On the technical side, we pursued new products which aim to generate significant revenue as soon as practicable: an encrypting DEX, private & verifiable voting for real world governments and orgs, and shared agents. On the partners side, we aggressively pushed the boundaries of the Shutter Network by launching new coalitions, proposing new organizations, and using new tools: the “Encrypt The Mempool! Coalition, a proposed blueprint for a Shutter PEN, and Melee 2 and POIDH bounties. ## Priorities for T2 2026 **Encrypted Mempool Priorities** 1. 🟢 Improve EIP Design (key withholding, optimized execution, etc.) 2. 🟢 Draft execution and consensus specs 3. 🟢 Launch and grow an “Encrypt The Mempool!” coalition 4. 🟡 Launch out-of-protocol EM with Primev + builders 5. 🟡 Explore encrypting DEXes **Private Voting Priorities** 1. 🟡 Munich real-world private voting project finished 2. 🟡 At least one additional real-world private voting project secured 3. 🟢 Snapshot Permanent Private Voting Alpha released and communicated 4. 🟡 Release a shared agents blog post and PoC **Misc Priorities** 1. 🟢 Release decrypted Ethereum Time Capsule entries 2. ✅ Propose a blueprint for a Shutter PEN 3. 🟢 Grow Shutter Champions (ecosystem growth program) **Key** ✅ Done / 🟢On Track / 🟡 Needs Work / ❌Not Done or Achievable ## Team **FTEs** - 6.22 FTEs (down from 8.25 FTEs) - 0.2 CEO, 0.67 Admin, 1.25 Business, 0.7 MarComs, 3.4 Developers. ## Keypers **Keyper Sets** - Gnosis: 7 online / 6 active (threshold 4/7). Time Capsule API: 11 online / 8 with restored keys (threshold 5/11). API: 5 online / 5 active (threshold 3/5). **Keyper Releases** - Released package versions [2026.06.01](https://github.com/shutter-network/shutter-keyper-deployment/releases/tag/shutter-api-keyper%2F2026.06.01), [2026.06.02](https://github.com/shutter-network/shutter-keyper-deployment/releases/tag/shutter-api-keyper%2F2026.06.02), and [DAppNode v0.1.11](https://dappnode.github.io/explorer/#/repo/0x8928c414c10d5eeaf2eea30702b3a0c03d52ff6f/0.1.11), including [Keyper v1.4.4](https://github.com/shutter-network/rolling-shutter/releases/tag/v1.4.4), DKG key injection support, and updated assets. **Keyper Operations & Uptime** - Monitored uptime, synchronization, RPC connectivity, and key participation, while supporting operators with RPC provider issues. ## Encrypted Transaction Ordering **Ethereum Mainnet - Encrypted Mempool EIP** - Worked with EF, LUCID and other teams to refine the draft EIP, including: - Reached out to transaction supply chain actors (from wallets to builders) to gather and incorporate their feedback into the draft EIP - Published [an MEV, chain and ordering simulator](https://blog.shutter.network/introducing-the-open-source-mev-simulator/) as an educational and research tool (inc [video on X post](https://x.com/ShutterNetwork/status/2067580345709646195)) **Ethereum Mainnet - Primev** - Worked with Primev and Quasar (builder) on out-of-protocol solution for pre-confirmed encrypted transactions. **Encrypting DEX** - Began exploring opportunities to run an encrypted DEX on Ethereum L1 or EEZ. ## Private Voting & Governance **Private Voting - Munich Project** - Completed our core work for the Munich project. Votebase has a working Keycloak integration. The project is ready for the prototype release and the first live voting test with real voters. **Private Voting - Snapshot Permanent Private Voting** - Worked on e2e Snapshot fork with threshold-ElGamal. Prepared an Alpha release, scheduled for July. **Shared Agents** - Launched a new shared agents initiative, starting with [an exploratory thought-leadership blog post](https://blog.shutter.network/on-shared-agents/). We also have an internal PoC of a shared agent launcher, which we want to test with two initial communities. ## Shutter API **Time Capsule Key Restoration** - Coordinated restoration of the November Time Capsule backups. 8/11 Keypers have restored the required keys and are ready for key release.\*\* Shutter API Infrastructure\*\* - Continued infrastructure improvements and stabilization work across deployments and the Keyper client. ## Cryptography Research **Silent Threshold Encryption and Post-Quantum Threshold Encryption** - Continued research to address EF’s and Benedict’s requirements for an encrypted mempool design. ## Partner / Developer Support “ **Encrypt The Mempool!” Coalition** - Launched the “Encrypt the Mempool!” Coalition with 18 initial members and added an additional 7 members: [website](https://www.encryptedmempool.org/), [X account](https://x.com/encryptmempool) and [blog post](https://blog.shutter.network/shutter-joins-the-encrypt-the-mempool-coalition/). -
